There are just over two months left before Endrick faces the biggest adventure of his career by leaving his native Brazil to arrive at Real Madrid, and the Spanish press has taken the opportunity to interview him and learn about his opinions on this imminent arrival at the successful Spanish club.

After this exclusive interview, in which he spoke about Vinicius, Rodrygo, what he expects to achieve at Madrid and the possible competition with Mbappé, Diario AS highlighted the statements of the Brazilian star regarding the reasons for his arrival at Real Madrid with its Thursday, May 23 cover, which reads: “It was not a choice, it was a dream.”

Faced with the imminent arrival of Kylian Mbappé, Endrick is motivated

Endrick spoke to Diario AS, a Madrid-based media that took advantage of his call-up to the Copa América and the proximity of his arrival at Real Madrid to ask him about various current issues.

Mainly, the Brazilian star was asked about his expectations, how he handles the pressure and stays focused, about the Bernabéu and about his teammates, Vinicius and Rodrygo, who played a key role in his arrival at Real Madrid. About his relationship with the Madrid attacking duo, Endrick confessed:

“It’s very good (His relationship with Vini and Rodrygo). They are young, they are also Brazilians, who adapted very well both to the city and to the club and to the way of playing in Spain. Their history, both Vini’s and Rodrygo’s, is an inspiration and they are going to help me a lot,” he assured.

In addition, Endrick stated that his aspirations at Real Madrid involve standing out in both the collective and individual aspects, winning great titles and standing out at the elite level:

“More than wanting (To win a Champions League), I know that it is mandatory to be European champion if one is at Madrid. The Champions League is a tournament that Madrid always thinks about, and the team must not start the season with any other objective than that.”

When asked if he aspires to one day win the Ballon d’Or, the star once again demonstrated his humility and his focus on doing things well: “The Ballon d’Or is the consequence of having been successful for several years in the form of titles, for which I will work, but I know that it is not the main thing. The club is always the main thing.”

Another issue that Endrick discussed was the more than likely arrival of Kylian Mbappé and, when asked if he sees the Frenchman as a threat, the Brazilian responded with confidence, confidence and perhaps a bit of pride, and assured that he feels motivated to compete against him:

“It’s a winning group, no player is a threat to another. The best club in the world must always look for the best in all positions, always. Being next to great players and competing for a position with them will only make me improve, reach a higher level and win more titles, because the club’s titles are the most important goals.”

To close, Endrick was also asked about the key decision to accept Real Madrid, rejecting offers from FC Barcelona or PSG, further enchanting the Merengue fans with his statements: “It was not a choice. Madrid was always a dream. I didn’t have to choose anything, I just realized my dream,” he stated.
