“I don’t follow market news, but at this moment I had something concrete and I thought it was appropriate to confirm (…) It was a life choice and certainly does not affect my relationship with this club, with the owners, and the fans,” said Felipe Anderson to Dazn in Italy.

“I want to publicly thank the president, with whom I have a very good relationship, and the sports director. We had a conversation. They understood what I wanted and were always fair with me,” he praised.

Felipe Anderson had an offer in hand to renew his contract with Lazio. The player also attracted interest from Juventus. However, the Brazilian chose to defend Palmeiras from the second half of this year.

The player can be registered by Palmeiras from July 10, when the transfer window in Brazil will be open. The São Paulo club has not yet provided an exact date for the player’s arrival.
