Roberto Firmino has a contract with the Saudi club until 2026 and does not rule out a change of country in the next transfer window. Valued at around 10 million euros, the striker would be one of the possible targets to replace Gabigol, whose future is uncertain at Ninho do Urubu.

Will Flamengo sign Roberto Firmino?

The Flamengo board does not hold back when it comes to signing stars in the transfer market, and the new player linked to the red-black is striker Roberto Firmino, who is at Al-Ahli – from Saudi Arabia.

According to the newspaper ‘O Dia’, the red-black made an inquiry to the player’s staff, but has not yet advanced with an official proposal to the Saudi club.

Replacement of an idol

The search for Roberto Firmino is linked to a likely departure of Gabigol in the middle of the year. The red-black idol lost space with Tite and tarnished his image within the club after the leak of a photo with the Corinthians shirt.

According to journalist Renato Maurício Prado, the red-black board will not make it difficult for the striker to leave, who interests Bahia, Corinthians, Cruzeiro and Grêmio.
