Directed by Bruno Maia and produced by Feel the Match and Kromaki, the documentary recovers the origins and reconstructs the paths traced by one of the greatest strikers of all time. The narrative arc begins in 1992, when the player is placed on the bench of the Brazilian National Team, conflicts with the technical commission and is left out of important subsequent call-ups. Between chronological comings and goings, the series unfolds until his epic return to the National Team, which culminates in the conquests of the 1994 World Cup and the award for best player in the world that same year.

The production also delves into Romário’s intimacy and addresses relevant issues of his personal life, such as the kidnapping of his father, on the eve of the 1994 World Cup. The documentary also features unseen footage of the ace’s passages through PSV and Barcelona, in addition to recalling memorable events in Brazil’s recent history, such as the death of Ayrton Senna and the impeachment of former president Fernando Collor.
