The Brazilian Olympic Committee (COB) is gearing up for the Olympic Games in Paris, France, which will run from July 26 to August 11. This year, Brazil will send 193 athletes, a decrease from the 304 who competed in Tokyo 2021.

“The number of athletes qualifying for the Olympics reflects the ongoing efforts to enhance our sports programs and the hard work of our athletes,” said a COB spokesperson. “Despite the lower numbers this year, our team is focused and ready to compete at the highest levels.”
