Brazil goes back to Brisbane after defeating Panama

After the 4-0 victory against Panama in the Women’s World Cup, the Women’s National Team returned, this Tuesday (25), to the training headquarters in Brisbane, Australia.

Before the trip, the Canarinho players had one last training session in Adelaide. The athletes who had a few minutes on the field or who did not play the match against Panama returned to the pitch, while the main players did regenerative activities.

In the midst of preparation for the next duel, striker Gabi Nunes shared her impressions about Brazil’s debut in the competition and projected the next duel against France.

“It was a great debut, we started very well. We were all confident and did our best on the field. I’m very happy to have debuted in the first Cup, it was a great emotion. Now it’s time to keep working. We know the importance of the next game and we want to do our best too,” said the striker.

At the end of the afternoon, the team boarded a chartered flight to the city of Brisbane. Preparations for the next duel will take place at two training centres: Moreton Bay Central Sports Complex and Perry Park.

The next challenge for the national team will be against the France. The match is scheduled for Saturday (29), at 7 am (Brasília time), at the stadium in Brisbane. Brazil leads Group F with three points.
