After becoming Canarinho‘s top scorer against national teams this Friday (8), with 79 goals, striker Neymar received a plaque in honor of the milestone achieved in Brazil’s 5-1 win over Bolivia at the Mangueirão Stadium, in Belém, Pará.

The star expressed his happiness after reaching the milestone and stated that he always dreamed of making his story with Amarelinha.

“I’m very happy, I’m speechless, I never imagined reaching this record. I’m no better than Pelé or any other player who played for the national team. I always wanted to write my name in the history of Brazilian football and the Brazilian national team and today I did that. I thank my family and all my teammates”, he said.
