This Sunday (26), the Maracanã will host the Futebol Solidário no Domingão, a charity event to raise and encourage donations to the victims of the floods in Rio Grande do Sul.
The Esperança x União teams will face each other starting at 4pm (Brasilia time), with broadcast on Rede Globo’s media outlets.

Futebol Solidário no Domingão
- The teams will be led by Dorival Júnior and Mano Menezes in the event bringing together football stars and artists;
- Ronaldinho Gaúcho and Cafu will be the captains of the two teams;
- The uniforms will have the colors of the Rio Grande do Sul flag.
Lineups defined
The Futebol Solidário no Domingão is an initiative promoted by Globo in partnership with CBF, Flamengo, the City of Rio and Jogo das Estrelas.
On Friday (24), the organizers announced new attractions for the event, in addition to defining the lineups for Esperança x União, at the Maracanã.

Refereeing
Raphael Claus and Anderson Daronco will share the refereeing of the match. Each professional will whistle one half of the charity match.
By Saturday (25) morning, 35,000 tickets had already been sold. TV Globo, Sportv, GE and Globoplay will broadcast the charity event.
All the revenue from the commercialization of the Futebol Solidário sponsorships will be donated to projects supported by the Para Quem Doar platform.
The value of the sale of match tickets will be used for the Central Única das Favelas (CUFA).
