On Sunday, Santos secured a dramatic 2-1 victory against Metz with a last-minute goal, leaving their rivals in 16th place and facing relegation.

As captain of Brazil’s U-23 team, Santos was named Ligue 1’s “Jewel of the Month” in March, recognized for his defensive skills and playmaking. On loan from Chelsea, he played a crucial role in Strasbourg’s derby win, scoring a stoppage-time header. After the match, Santos tweeted: “Great derby win, happy for the goal! Thanks God!”
